Itazura Na Kiss is a drama based on an anime and manga.
Plot
In this romantic comedy story, a high school girl named Kotoko Aihara finally tells a fellow senior named Naoki that she has loved him from afar since she saw him on their first day of high school. However, Naoki, a hottie "super-ikemen" (handsome male) who is smart and good at sports, rejects her offhand. Fate intervenes when a mild earthquake ruins Kotoko's family house. While the house gets rebuilt, Kotoko and her dad stay at the home of her dad's childhood bestfriend...whose son is Naoki.
My own personal thoughts
I was really unsure on this drama at first however I ended up watching the drama. I didn't like the anime Itazura Na Kiss at all.. the anime disturbed me very much and I couldn't bare to watch the whole season. Then I watched this drama.. I didn't knew someone of the actors but now I do. The actors wasn't that bad on acting except Yuuki Irie, the little brother in the Irie family. But this drama is a typical shoujo drama, the girl wants a boy who is cool and handsome, he is cold torwards her and won't notice his own feelings for the girl.
Irie Naoki who is played by Yuki Furukawa, his character was the typical shoujo love interest and also my new interest. He has before appeared in dramas like Rich man, poor woman that also Oguri Shun has his appearens.
When I also noticed that Furukawa also appears in Rich Man, Poor Woman I find it interesting to watch it now.
However if I jump directely into the critical statements .. his appearence was kind of cool but when you get more involde in the story you found him very cute and very careful as a person .. but at the three last episodes you can't stand him .. you're like really disgusting and you pity Aihara Kotoko.. I wanted to slap some sence in her if she didn't do someting.. but if you see the drama then you'll know what will happend.
Kinnosuke who is played by Yuki Yamada, he isn't very famous in Japan but he is an actor. I didn't like him as an actor but he was really cute to his friend Kotoko in the hardest moments and he was always there for her to cheer her up. But I won't spoil to much now.
The heroin Aihara Kotoko who is played by Honoka Miki, she isn't so famos either but she won a prize together with Yuki Furukawa for best j-drama couple year 2014, they were nominated 2013 but they didn't won.
If I have to rate this drama I would like to give it a 8/10.
Why isnt' it a 10/10? It's because it's really hard to reach it.. however Hana Yori Dango is in the top right now and I don't think some of the Japanese Dramas will pich it down. hooh
